Like many others, I used to think about food around the clock. At breakfast, I’d wonder what I’d eat for lunch. At lunch, I’d plan what I’d eat for dinner. At dinner… You get the picture. I felt trapped!
I’d restrict myself from all the foods that society told me were “bad,” but that just seemed to make me crave them even more. I became obsessed with food labels and suddenly became my friends’ weight loss guru… But man, was I misled and misleading… (I mean, nutrition has got to be one of the most confusing topics out there!)
As I became a dietitian, I learned how to balance my meals for better satisfaction, health, & weight management, which freed up space in my brain so I could think about things besides food. In addition, I discovered that the emotional side of eating can be managed through several techniques that I’m excited to share with you.
